The thing is, it's not our music. Youngsters of today live different lives. Our parents didn't like rock. Their parents didn't like Jazz...there were probably people who thought ragtime was "the devil's music".
life goes on and things change.
BTW I take exception to bad artists being popular only lately.
Anybody remember The Archies? How about Ohio Express? Not a lot of today's music is worse than "Yummy Yummy Yummy".
